The lab process at Foundation Medicine is central to their mission. For this project, we documented the workflow of FMI scientists and pathologists as they received and analyzed samples to guide treatment decisions. Gaining access to research spaces and carefully planning each step were critical to the project’s success. By collaborating closely with multiple departments—each playing a vital role in the process—we coordinated a seamless production using real people in authentic environments.
